Ashley began her career as an assistant public defender in
Lowndes County, Georgia, where she represented hundreds of clients on
charges ranging from possession of marijuana to murder. She successfully
defended cases in magistrate, juvenile, and superior court, and developed her
skills in handling proceedings such as: first appearance, preliminary hearings,
bond hearings, motions hearings, and trial.

In 2020 Ashley worked as an Associate Attorney for Kelley Law Firm, LLC under
the mentorship of Steven B. Kelley. While at Kelley Law Firm, LLC Ashley gained
an insurmountable amount of experience and received a promotion to Senior
Assistant Attorney. Ashley handled a variety of cases from Drug Trafficking to
Murder and appeared in Juvenile, State Court, Superior Court, & Federal Court
while working at Kelley Law Firm.

Ashley continues to advocate for clients in Federal Court and State Court as a private practitioner handling a range of cases involving drug trafficking, white collar crime, and firearms charges to name a few. She also dedicates her time to indigent defense in State Courts as well as Federal. Ashley started Ashley E. Carnage Law, LLC in 2021 to provide quality, thorough, and passionate defense for clients accused of criminal charges.
